Auckland University Underwater Club kicks off semester 2

Auckland University Underwater Club has had a roaring start to semester 2 kicking off with PADI women’s dive day. We believe it is the first all-women trip the club has done with the very capable Annika as our skipper. Beautiful weather made for a great day’s diving out just behind the Noises, Georgia even dove in a tutu for the cause. The day was wrapped up with a delicious picnic.
Our annual re-orientation week trip took 30 members down to Taupo with a heavy focus on building connections rather than diving and allowed unqualified but keen members to be around divers and get inspired. For those diving the water was pleasantly warm, a tropical 15C!
