Young Ocean Explorers New Rangatahi series

Young Ocean Explorers are incredibly excited to be launching their new Rangatahi series to learn about the moana through a Te Ao Māori lens.

Young Ocean Explorers are incredibly excited to be launching their new Rangatahi series with presenter Tiki.

Tiki takes us on a journey to learn about the moana through a Te Ao Māori lens and there are nearly 50 minutes of educational polls, quizzes and videos to watch and do.

Big thanks to Greenstone TV who produced the amazing content and NZ On Air who funded it!

Also check out HEIHEI who will be playing the Young Ocean Explorers Rangatahi stories over the next three months.

One of the most exciting papers I have taken this semester has been solely focussed on fisheries and aquaculture and I’m thoroughly enjoying the breadth of topics covered. One lecture was spent analysing green-lipped mussel farming in New Zealand.
