National and World Spearfishing Champs

Spearfishing NZ are currently putting together a team for the Worlds Salt Water Spearfishing Champs to be competed in Sardinia, Italy in September 2020. They hope to take part of the team there this year for a reconnaissance. This competition will be very deep diving requiring a high level of skill.
The National Spearfishing Champs 2020 have been changed from January to April to offer better water and more accessible accommodation options. This event will be held on the Coromandel Peninsula in Kuaotuna the week after Easter.
